KRAUTCH Sochara is a lawyer specializing in taxation and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), with nearly a decade of experience in these fields. Before leading this executive program, he worked at a top-tier law firm in Cambodia, where he provided legal and tax advisory services to multinational enterprises, focusing on domestic and cross-border tax planning, corporate restructuring, and compliance across various sectors, including insurance, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and manufacturing. He also worked for the Cambodian Tax Administration, where he primarily focused on the 2023 Law on Taxation and its implementing regulations.
Sochara holds a law degree and multiple postgraduate degrees from renowned institutions. He completed a Master’s Degree in Tax Law and a Master’s Degree in Business Law, majoring in Insurance Law, from Jean Moulin-Lyon 3 University in France under the Eiffel Scholarship Program awarded by the French government. Additionally, he earned an Advanced LLM in International Tax Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
