KRAUTCH Sochara is a lawyer specializing in tax law and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), with nearly a decade of experience in these fields, and is the co-director of CITS. Before leading this executive program, he worked at a top-tier law firm in Cambodia, where he provided legal and tax advisory services to multinational enterprises, focusing on domestic and cross-border tax planning, corporate restructuring, and compliance across various sectors, including insurance, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and manufacturing.

Sochara graduated with a law degree from the French Cooperation Program at the Royal University of Law and Economics. His consistent academic excellence earned him the prestigious Eiffel Scholarship to pursue advanced legal studies in France. Sochara completed a Maîtrise Degree (Master 1) in Business Law, and two Master’s degrees (Master 2) in Tax Law and in Insurance Law at Jean Moulin-Lyon 3 University, France, and further specialized with an advanced LL.M. in International Tax Law from Leiden University in 2019. He also completed numerous intensive transfer pricing programs as part of the advanced LL.M. in Transfer Pricing for MNEs at the International Tax Center in Leiden and WU Vienna (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
